WHITE ON THE STONES

A complex of old stables is connected with an existing house and converted into a comfortable summer residence.

The sea in the south side, the mountain and the ancient Xorio surrounding the house on the other sides.

The house is conceived as two blocks:

• the living area upstairs (with an independent guess house beside) in white plaster
• the rooms downstairs developing on different levels around small courtyards or overlooking the valley

Materials and traditional techniques allow a complete integration with the landscape.

Its criteria of typical buildings of the Cyclades ensure optimal comfort without the need of invasive passive measures.
